Automatic removal of unapproved user accounts

It would be nice to see an option for deleting unapproved user accounts. That is, those who, for example, haven't confirmed their email address. Example: Delete unverified accounts after (number of days) or never. If this option is enabled, all users who registered an account but haven't confirmed it will be deleted.

Mixed feelings here.

I do prefer send an e-mail every X days: You haven’t confirmed your e-mail address…

And then after a few notifications delete the account.

Just deleting it seams to be a little rude.

And imagine, spam bots bypassing your security and registering 120 accounts? And would you like to remove them manually yourself?
