Redesign of the header - Various header versions to choose from
A function in the template allowing the choice of different header versions. For example, having 3 header options, and each person using the template can select the one most suitable for them. I believe this is a useful and versatile feature for most users.
I don't hide that such a function will be in IPS, and I really liked it because you can always better customize the forum to your visual preferences.
My suggestion for one of the header versions:
There is no benefit in this since you can modify the template for you needs already - or use a style that fits your wishes.
In my opinion, the default template should be more extensive and offer greater customization options to meet individual needs, without the necessity of delving into the code.
That's why there are designers selling their styles - and custom styles. There is no reason to include every possibility one could imagine. Don't forget, that everyone would have to play for those, no matter whether you'd want to use them.
Unfortunately, not everyone wants to use a different style than the default one, so the default style should provide more customization options to meet individual needs. I would also like to mention that most other templates are built based on the default style, so our hands are somewhat tied, and rebuilding each section is a massive undertaking.
Layout changes to the header usually require template changes, which makes it difficult for normal users and can potentially lead to incompatibilities during updates.
I therefore agree that it would be nice if this could be configured more easily. An example here would be the positioning of the main menu below the logo.
