Solution

Recipes for Cartography Table, Loom & Composter Thats it. Would be cool and intersting what could be done with those tables. For the Cartography Table you could put a Map and a Item, and it would turn the Map into an Image of the Item.

The only workstation I may look into is the Composter.
Both Cartography Table and Loom have a very specific use case, with a specifically designed UI, that provides small to no flexibility to integrate any custom functionality (at least not with a plugin... a mod could do more).

However, the composter is a lot more flexible, no UI, just one interaction, that's it. I could theoretically add custom recipes, that make it possible to compost custom items, and maybe more.
