Save seems to delete mods

Open 5colouredwalker opened this issue 5 years ago • 5 comments

Howdy

For some reason, clicking the 'Save to Stellaris' button seems to delete all my mods without warning or notice. I've replicated this at least once after managing to get mods to re-download and reinstall (A pain in the butt). Going to bed now but is this a known issue, and what information would you like for debugging?

Cheers

There shouldn't be anything on my end that does that. Possible that there have been a format change in the settings file. If you'd be so kind, please attach your settings file agree after you encounter the issue

I will admit to be an overwhelming noob, and the only file that has setting anywhere in the SCMM is the log.txt. Did you mean the Stellaris or Steam settings, or some other file?

Sorry I wasn't specific enough - it's the settings.txt file in the stellaris configuration directory (in Documents\Paradox Interactive\Stellaris)

settings.txt

Above is my attached settings file, I've not done any mod recovery so it shouldn't have changed since the deletion.

I can confirm that the issue isn't the mod manager. Got mod's reinstalled only for them to uninstall after playing some time unmodded. It seems to have been a coincidence.
