improvement: describe options in terms of their effect, not what they do under the hood

For example, I think that this option doesn't really convey much to the user:

It needs to say that there's this bug and that it will help with mitigating it. Something like "video and audio get out of sync over time. Apply mitigations for this".

For a second thought, maybe it's gonna sound weird when this options is checked. It's like "video and audio get out of sync - check". "Since they don't get out of sync, do I uncheck this option"?
