And by "clogged up" I don't mean that the messages are _lost_, I only mean that they're delayed. Buuut, sometimes than can be lost actually, see https://github.com/chatmail/core/pull/6946.

This might have to do with the measurements being taken while the image is loading and does not have full width.

Good point. Though I wonder if we need to announce the last message at all? As well as the time of the last message.
BTW Android doesn't announce the number of unread messages at all, weirdly.
