hey, it would be nice to have a list of to-do items and a roadmap describing API goals, this could encourage and help other contributors to join in ;)

Yeah, it's a good idea. I'll write the Readme in a short while.

I'll leave this issue open if people want to discuss about it

I just added a simple task list at the end of the Readme, with a general guideline for what I expect this wrapper to be.
