Plans for to merge with Chokkan
Fantastic work! Any plans on merging with https://github.com/chokkan/crfsuite or do you just want to maintain your own repo?

Thank you very much for the kind words. I wrote an email to Mr. Okazaki (aka @chokkan) in August 2015, letting him know that these changes were freely available online, but he didn't respond to it. So far, there are still a couple of issues left with the new models (see a summary here) which prevent me from making a full-fledged pull request. I'm now trying to fix them in my spare time (which I don't have much, unfortunately). My plan so far is to make another pull request, once I'm done with the issues.

It looks like some other folks like @kmike and @tavianator are also reviewing PR requests, although chokkan still is the one who can merge. I wonder if it would be useful to get their eyes on this earlier.

I'll get rid of some automatically generated files in my repo and will then make a pull request to the official repository.
