Please make a new release, 1.1.9 doesn't build on Guix

Would it be possible to make a new release for readstat so that distributions that typically package things based on release tarballs can update it?

Guix currently has 1.1.9 which is the latest release at the moment (early 2023), but it appears that the package fails to build and that the fix has already been committed here: 718d49155e327471ed9bf4a8c157f849f285b46c

Many packages depend on readstat so the Guix maintainers will probably opt for a patch if there's no new release, but that's a bit hacky especially if the issue in 1.1.9 is not limited to the Guix packaging system.
