I see the advantage but I think the complexity of using a modal will hurt UX. Think of grandparents trying to figure out how to add something to someone's wishlist.

I did port the project to TS today. Are you trying to execute the source code? Try `npm run build` then `node built/index.js`.

Being able to run as a non-root user would be good. Thanks for the PR!
