When you select files and use the Refresh Selected menu item, WinMerge currently uses only one CPU core. However, if you press the F5 key to refresh, it will use the same CPU cores as in the initial comparison.

When I am comparing external drives it usually takes a couple hours. If refesh selected can not be done with all CPU cores, can you enable: Copy paths (all) and (paste from clipboard or to a text-file) and run a new WinMerge project with all CPU cores? Simple Example (from 1 to hundreds or thousands of Path-file sets): D:\Test.txt E:\Test.txt -or- D:\Test.txt E:\Test.txt F:\Test.txt Selected from a previous session Thanks

It seems that using only one CPU core for "Refresh Selected" should be improved.

As for the other requests, it would be helpful if you could open separate issues for each one, so we can track them more easily.
