Winmerge.ini: Settings-Bar0/Visible=0

I tried to specify in my specific winmerge.ini the two lines:
Settings-Bar0/Visible=0 Settings-Bar1/Visible=0

but it did not have the desired effect. The corresponding windows were still displayed. I have identified these settings by comparing two ini files, one with the windows displayed and one where I had the display removed. The two lines were the only difference so I gave it a try - not succeeding though.
