Collaborate with other apps?

I knew about ConfClerk (only takes XML) for some time, but just discovered Kongress (oddly enough it's from 2020 but only takes ICS), seems people like reinventing the wheel :-)

Surely we could avoid having to do the event curation 3 times?

1× is almost always better than 3+× yeah :) Do they have anything similar to menu.json right now?

ConfClerk requires manual input of the conf URLs.

Kongress has a single JSON there, not sure how they produce it: https://autoconfig.kde.org/kongress/conference-data.json

At some point I was thinking also it could be interesting to have separate sources by conference types (FLOSS, hacker…) so it could be extended to other non-computer things.

I just noticed there is Hacker Tracker by some DEF CON team… Is that one FLOSS anyway? Seems yes. Oddly the Kansasfest schedule was on this one.
