Translation of pages to Spanish in Spanish StackOverflow
Hi Will,
we at Spanish StackOverflow recently found your website and found it great! We think it could be useful to explain new users about how the site works, so we started translating it into a meta question here. Our idea is being able to link to the different answers in the comments.
We've seen that the license seems to allow what we've done, but we just wanted to let you know so we could be sure that you're ok with it.
If you need any clarification (or translation), just ask :)
Okay, I understand now. Yes, it's perfectly fine to do that. Another option is that you could create a new category here ("Spanish Stack Overflow" and translate the pages here. That way you can reuse the URL e.g. (well, at least the category would be translated) http://idownvotedbecau.se/imagendeunaexcepción for example...
First of all, thank you for your answer. We discussed about using Meta or a site like this in this meta discussion and, by now, we feel that it is better for us using Meta. We are a very young community (we left beta just a few months ago) but we are trying to grow as fast as possible. Anyway, we almost have all the translations made, so it would be little work to adapt that into your site templates, so if you'd like to see the pages in Spanish, just tell us and we can talk about the best way of doing it. Once again, thank you for your work and help.
Wouldn't it need a new URL, like http://bajévotacion.es ?
No sé. Tal?
