Remove references to Occurrence IDs in favor of Sightings IDs
There are places in Wildbook that still refer to Occurrence IDs instead of Sighting IDs:
Search
- Sighting Search (
/occurrenceSearch.jsp): Under Collected Data Fields, there is an Occurrence ID field. - Encounter Search (
/encounters/encounterSearch.jsp): Under Metadata filters, there is an Occurrence ID field.
Encounter page (/encounters/encounter.jsp)
- Identity section: Occurrence ID field listed. In edit mode, Manage Occurrence Assignment appears with the following text beneath:
In this dialog box, you can add an encounter to a new or existing occurence or remove the encounter from an occurrence if already assigned.
Remove from occurrence
Individual page (/individuals.jsp)
- Encounter table: Occurring With column header. Consider changing to Sighted With?
- Co-Occurrences diagram
note: bulk import occurrence references to be dealt with during integration of new import tech, so are not part of this ticket
