Children Disappear

My daughter just somehow disappeared after stopping and starting the multiplayer server I share with my gf and I looked everywhere in my house and out and she isn't anywhere.

Did she become an adult and disappear or was she a child? I had the same issue with mine. When he became an adult while I was playing the game I went to check on him a few minutes later where he was supposed to be fishing and he had vanished. The family whistle doesnt work and eventually he doesn't show up on it at all. Assuming he wandered off which I flew everywhere looking for him and couldnt find him. He also doesnt spawn at the place I marked as him home at night. It's like he never existed. But when I try to make another baby with my bf that I play with on lan, it says I have a baby already. Which I do not.

Mine was an adult. Same as yours, but we had ours inside with fences so they couldn't leave the house.
