No longer works
I'm getting DNS errors from the DDInstagram domain and embeds aren't working. My discord kitten asks why I sent her a weird link she thinks it's a virus and she blocked me ;(.
Domain is still registered and active, but there's no DNS records for the domain anywhere at this point, domain will not resolve. Sounds like the hosting has gone kerplunkt.
They possibly got contacted by fake meta representatives about trademark infringement of the domain like people here: https://github.com/WhatsApp/proxy/issues/199 Hope it's not the case though.

Sadly the author got hit by a C&D letter for scraping so he removed the support for Instagram and FB posts.

Looks like eeinstagram.com, uuinstagram.com and vxinstagram.com doesn't work now.
Hi guys, looking at this thread I've got the idea to make a little tool that intelligently redirects the instagram video queries to one of the many embedding services cited in this thead (for now, eeinstagram.com, uuinstagram.com and vxinstagram.com).
This way you don't have to search for which one currently work
It's hosted on https://zzinstagram.com and for now it only supports the /p/videoId route, but I'll add the other features (gallery mode, video only and all the rest). I might also add a homepage to see which instagram embedding service currently responds and some statistics
edit : it's having some certificate issues rn but I'm on it lol edit2: it should be running fine now
Pretty sure IG's engineers have threads like this subscribed and they simply plug any holes over time. There's no permanent solution as long as IG exists.
Their entire business relies on you going to their site, so they can collect the data.
