Widget page loads extremely slow

Hi,

using free version of the plugin 3.7.2. and WP 4.9.8. - when I activate the plugin the widget page loads extremly slow. What I mean with that is, that each defined widget area on the page loads separately in a staccato of 1-2 seconds. This makes the widget page almost unusable. I attach 2 screenshots of Chrome Dev Tools Network Tab showing once the loading time with the plugin enabled and secondarily with the plugin disabled.

Any recommendations? Is this issue also persistent with the paid version as if that's the case we will not purchase it.
