Working after WhatsApp Web API change?
Hey @Wicker25, I hope you're still somewhat active here. I noticed that you haven't committed to this repo in five years, but maybe he'll still be able to help me out.
I just tried to get Whatstrapp running. It took me a while to adjust the Dockerfile to get it to build properly, but even then I was never able to get past <div id="root">Connected</div>. The Elasticsearch and Kibana backends seem to be running (properly?), but the frontend for Whatstrapp at 127.0.0.1:8025 only shows "Connected". There is no QR code or other content.
I seem to remember that WhatsApp changed to authorization process for their web client a couple years ago, is this because of that? Do you think there's a chance of adapting this tool or is the new API too complex?
@anschmieg , unfortunately I discontinued the work on this repository. I'm keeping it up only for education purposes. I'm not familiar with the new API but I will take a look at in the next few weeks to see if it's a easy change !
