How to configure a global hotkey to toggle Calendar display?

Such as WinKey+z to simulate clicking on clock text to display System Calendar, Win+z again to hide it.

Windows 10 has got a builtin shortcut for that - try WIN+ALT+D

thanks, is there anyway to remap this hotkey to something like WinKey+z? easier to press...

@sh2sg You could use famous https://github.com/microsoft/PowerToys and its https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/powertoys/keyboard-manager to remap shortcuts.
