Selecting multiple nodes for further analysis?

Is there a way to to select several nodes in a graph (e.g. by shift-clicking) and then apply a python function to the list of nodes?

Hi by looking your question, I am assuming that you have implemented the onclick event functionality by clicking on the node... if yes, could you please share the example. thanks
