ovlloader itself works fine on 16.0.0

I recommend next time to properly google issue. You must update overlays (ovl files)

how does one update overlays? this is mostly for the people who don't understand how to properly do it.

How you can be confused? How did you install overlays before? If your overlay combo button doesn't work, it means you don't have ovlloader installed.

Issues are not for user support.

but when i had that same file there, it makes atmosphere freak out and not work properly. forcing me to have to remove it. more so the one that ends with 7E51A in atmosphere/contents

So while others are having issues with the crashing, some of us are having an issue with the key combination of L-Down-RS not bringing up anything AT ALL. We start a fresh new emummc, install everything new, drop in the updated .overlays, but nothing will pop up for us. Since this seems to be ground zero I can only assume the problem is here.

Same crash here even with only tesla menu overlay so it probably has to be updated.. Tesla menu is pretty critical for other overlays which even if they get updated they won't work unless Tesla Menu Overlay is also updated

I really want to make a new issue, but this is somehow related to FW 16 changes. On FW 16, with ovl files updated with the latest libtesla, there is a crash, usually triggering 2168-002, or 2347-007. The best way to reproduce is to start loading River City Girls 2, and enter and exit Tesla menu a few times during the loading screen with the 2 girls fighting above the progress bar. OR launch the latest emuiibo (built with the latest source).

With no .ovl files present (except for ovlmenu.ovl), there is no crash, and the game loads. With any other .ovl file present, it crashes. Consequently, if you wait until the game actually loads, using Tesla menu doesn't crash. But the crash has been reported in many other situations such as running a Pokemon Game and changing the Pokemon (don't ask... I'm not sure of the context on that one).

Here are more logs. I zip them because GitHub don't like .bin file. I hope my logs will help figuring out why Tesla overlay/ovlloader been crashing after 16.0.0 update.

I tried many different edizon overlay ovl builds. I still get crashes.

For me, the fix was simply deleting the Tesla content folder I had, redownloading it, extracting, right clicking the new download and then going into properties, unchecking the read-only box in permissions, and then copying the new version over to my contents folder. This allowed the menu to open after pressing the button combo.

After updating to the newest version of skyline afterwards though it still opens but now crashes just after the overlay displays.
