Karis (Acer Spin 714) needs mtl-rt5682-ssp1 topology - no audio

Available but incompatible topologies:

  • sof-mtl-max98357a-rt5682.tplg (SSP0)
  • sof-mtl-max98357a-rt5682-ssp2-ssp0.tplg (SSP2)

Fix needed: sof-mtl-rt5682-ssp1.tplg (or sof-mtl-rt5682i.tplg)

Every karis uses rt5650, not rt5682(i). I thought I had added this to the script, but Karis currently needs a patched topology which you can get here. Drop that file into /lib/firmware/intel/sof-ace-tplg/ and remove the compressed one installed by your distro and then audio should work. I've been using it on my Karis for a while now and everything works great.
