Audio stopped working on Screebo device

Open KitchenSync439 opened this issue 6 months ago • 2 comments

Describe the bug I'm running Fedora 42 on a Screebo device. I was previously able to get audio working on this setup with your help (see issue #248 ). I recently noticed that audio was no longer working, I think after an OS upgrade, and when looking at the Sound settings, I no longer see an audio device.

Distro name and version For a pure rolling release, such as Arch Linux, just say Arch Linux. Fedora 42 (6.15.4-200.fc42.x86_64)

Boardname Screebo

Looks like an issue in the kernel driver

I was able to get some audio devcies to show up by adding snd_hda_intel.dmic_detect=0 to the GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX config. Now I see four new audio devices:

Built-in Auto Pro Built-in Auto Pro 7 Built-in Auto Pro 8 Built-in Auto Pro 9

Sound still doesn't work, though.

Looks like SOF 2.14 is out and it contains the fix. When will your script pick it up?
