Jasper Lake Issues - fix

Open 1dontgiveaf opened this issue 9 months ago • 5 comments

on arch, the only way i was able to get jasperlake audio was to read your previous docs.

after setting up audio, you need to do this to hear audio:

amixer set 'Left Bypass Boost' on amixer set 'Right Bypass Boost' on amixer set 'Left Mono LR Select' 'Left' amixer set 'Right Mono LR Select' 'Right'

also you have to disable pipeware it delete it yeah

but uhh it doesn't work fully after setting up audio

I'm also having issues with Jasper Lake on Manjaro. Running those commands just gives me amixer: Unable to find simple control 'Left Bypass Boost',0, etc. What kind of problems were you having specifically? (I'm opening an issue of my own in a sec.)

read your previous docs.

What previous doc?

amixer set 'Left Bypass Boost' on amixer set 'Right Bypass Boost' on amixer set 'Left Mono LR Select' 'Left' amixer set 'Right Mono LR Select' 'Right'

Not every Jasperlake device has the same audio codecs/amps and those controls can be specific to one. Please give logs next time.
