Feature/922 update javascript file

This PR begins the process of converting out cptui-scripts.js file to be mostly jQuery-less.

There are a couple spots involving confirm/deny dialogs that I am leaving with jQuery UI for the moment, as well as a spot with regards to menu icon selection.

We can revisit these at a later time, while still getting these updates out the door to everyone now.
