How to do a short circuit between SB11 and RESET in this board?

I recently bought this and tried to update it using stlinkUpdate software. I didn't know what went wrong, but since then I couldn't get this to connect to stlink programmer or any other stlink utility. I spent hours on the internet saying some issue about the usb config in mac and the solution was to shortcircuit SB11 and RESET pins. I couldn't find much about the minidebugger except the docs in this repo. It would be awesome if anyone could guide me on how to achieve something Similar to this...

Download the STLinkV2.J28.M18.bin firmware in this repo and reflash your module using the 4 unsoldered pins underneath the module. You can find the order of the pins in the picture in the main page
