[wf-background] high memory usage

The wayfire process is using 106mb RAM , which considering what it is doing is incredibly reasonable, even impressive.

However, the wf-background process, which displays a picture, is using 234mb. Now I am using a 3840x2160 image but the png is less than 1mb.

Over 200mb to display an image seems excessive to me.

I'm using wf-shell built from git master.

Would you be able to share the [background] configuration section of your ~/.config/wf-shell.ini ?

For example I have

Further questions:

Do you have only the one screen? Which version of wf-shell have you got installed? Is the image size given also your monitor resolution?
