wf-panel wont run any longer

hi i have this problem:

i have gtk-layer-shell 0.6.0 and also tested with git version, is the problem because i have gtk3 version 3.24.31? but if im not mistaken that is not the problem. https://github.com/wmww/gtk-layer-shell/blob/master/compatibility.md an update of another package broke this. i would like to know what the problem is as wayfire was working fine including the panel.

Edit: i used wf-config and removed battery from the config option of the panel and the panel launched fine. whats the problem with Upower and battery?
