Request on interface – less stuff as an option?

Would it be simpleish to allow users to choose when the top and bottom toolsets are on, and when to experience an uncomplicated touching on the singular page? I'm new, so this may crude and inaccurate (against my wishes): the program seems designed to facilitate writing by making it easier, especially with the various cool tools kept within easy reach. I get that, and am interested in exploring these offerings. And I don't think this option would undermine use of the new opportunities with Hammer – and various options, like semi-transparency, learning size ( perhaps by mouse options), etc., and remaining enticing. in any event, the option would be nice.

My personal experience is constant awareness of their existence and my wish that they would not be there so I could see more of what's occurring, though most are probably less sensitive in this regard than me. and most also would likely just love an option.

Thanks for the good work and considering! If Hammer seems to work out for me, I'm happy to provide feedback to the extent you're interested.

Fyi, ive tried dozens of programs that promise to allow for writing on the same content from two devices, but in practice... Obsidian might be okay if it has lost important data repeatedly. One note did not survive the realization that privacy from corporations matters. Dozens have not worked. Zettl, Joplin, logsec... I'm Really tired, but many... even , Notally, Notally X, Markor, Cherrytree...

So Hammers existence is very welcome!

Notesnook is pretty much quite okay, notably good in some ways and difficult/distracting to compensate for with others. If the two notally programs didn't just freeze up from time to time and lose hours of work — and this has happened to me three times on each — they would be the others that I would say are pretty much quite okay. It's plain bad that Microsoft demands we just disrobe for and then at their whims, any and all times, no choice but theirs. Like Google, theyve Become extremely invasive – actually, this Intense discomfort spurred a renewed interest in privacy and resisting transnational monoliths that are really truly predatory, leading to Hammer today – and due to their wealth (increasingly comprised of the fruits of surveillance), they're unregulated, massive and ever-powerful entities intent on knowing everything detail of our lives. It's so creepy.

Hammer will be much more pleasant experience. I'm sure!

Sorry if any is TMI. Just thought context may help.
