Can't Add Ublock 1.53 as my Extension

I cant add ublock 1.53 as my extension, luckly i got the 1.52 version here. I installed it but i dont see it on Add-ons section.

Also, the ublock's GUI cant be seen properly as it is on firefox:

It's just not compatible with this Waterfox version. You shouldn't be also using Waterfox Classic, cuz it's without security updates and is discontinued project, instead of migrate to Basilisk, Pale Moon or Waterfox G.x. Last update of Classic was in 2022, so don't expect that will be fixed.

Seems that you have too much faith in that project. Well, if it wasn't dead, then I think update would come in January 2023. I think that MrAlex should archive that repo to make that clear. I also doubt someone will fork it, cuz it's basically almost 2 years without updates (and even earlier some security things were skipped), so that could be a lot of work to get it into proper condition. Maybe better for someone would be to just fork Pale Moon and add to its code webextensions.

I might be forking it, but not to update it. I want to experiment with the Classic codebase.

Also for that Pale Moon comment, I actually found Tobin on Matrix and was discussing Firefox, Pale Moon, etc, and I asked him about webextensions yesterday, and got this.

@hawkeye116477 I think you've built Waterfox Classic before, how exactly do I build this? I tried latest Mozillabuild and ./mach bootstrap, but that gave me an error, something about Python 2.7 missing.

@K4sum1 I think that you'll need MozillaBuild 3.4, can't be higher version than that, cuz newer removed Python 2.

Past 1.32.4, sites like Discogs weren't being filtered.
