Maps | Voting & Rating
Maps | Voting and Rating
Greetings. In this post, I will be submitting a brand-new scheme for rating a map and voting for a map.
Voting for the next map
Before the match starts, players will be teleported into a lobby. The player will be informed that you may vote for the next map, the map can be determined by clicking one of the choices presented to the player in chat (selections are randomized). My recommendation is 3-5 maps for each vote. The map with the highest vote will be selected. If it is a draw, another map will automatically be chosen.
Rating the map
In replacement regarding the #maps channel on the Warzone Discord, a message will pop up following the end of each match to ask for if the player admired the map or despised the map. Upon choosing one of the options, it will be carried over to the #maps channel using a bot if it is possible.

You could probably allow only VIPs and staff to vote, if it would be added (to make it seem like the VIPs are getting something out of their money).
Everybody should be able to vote. The VIPs aren't the only ones who play the server, so they shouldn't be the only people whose opinions are heard.
I'm with working robot. Only donator and staff members can vote. This would be a good feature to add for donators because really all they have is a prefix and team selection.
Well, maybe in a comprimise, have people have 1 vote, but allow donors to have more votes. @master00ofdsiware @scorpion808
No. Everyone would be able to vote, because we aren't going to make people's vote worthless if they haven't paid Warzone.
@Palmidence Good. Thank you for being sensible.
Having to be VIP to vote is honestly a bad idea. It's basically saying that you need to pay up in order to have a say in a server. It makes the people with no rank more obsolete. There are people out there that like playing on the server, and VIPs aren't the majority of them. There are plenty of other perks you can add to VIPs and donors that aren't as disapproved as this, such as the ability to use a premium chat or something else.
Yeah, I see your point. I just thought that paying for a rank would make you feel like it was worth it
