Pretty much I cant install the plugin because im missing dependencies but I have gone ahead and install them manually but still fails

While not ideal you can manually extract the advanced-scene-switcher-1.27.2-x86_64-linux-gnu.tar.xz artifact to the /usr folder instead of installing the *.deb file.

I will think about switching to Ubuntu 24 runners to build the plugin, but I am not sure when I will get around to it exactly.

can you tell me what directory exactly I should extract it to?

You put them into the /usr/ folder. So /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/obs-plugins/... and /usr/share/obs/obs-plugins/.....

I will close this as the 1.29.x releases are built for Ubuntu 24 environments.
