Crash while playing campaign

Hi,

I own the game from GoG I have Windows 10 22H2 Nvidia RTX 2060 Super 8 GB

While playing campaign, most of the times after winning a level, the game crash instead to continue or it's crashing a few secondes laters.

Same issue. Tried to overwrite my save after finishing a level and it crashed. Now crashes when I try to load my save or the autosave after the briefing. Skirmish games still load fine.

Same issue using my old battle.net cd backup. Got past the 3rd? 4th? level in the human campaign (build a port and 4 oil rigs.) Crashed after the stats screen at the end.

+1. Tried all v3 with australian cds, BNE and GOG bne. Cannot load intro video for 4th campaign. Had to rollback to v2.

Im having trouble with Human Campaign Blackrock map victory screen. Unable to get to victory screen keep crasing with this. Same with Standard Scenario. Anytime I click victory button when I won the game crash.

I have the same issue. Setting wargus.exe to run on Windows XP SP2 compatibility mode seems to "solve" the issue.

I really hope this gets properly fixed, since currently the goal of having a future proof War2 engine is at risk because of this bug. And personally, in terms of gameplay features, Wargus far superior to the recently released remaster from Blizzard.

The same issue - crash when I click Victory button, with the following message box:

Stratagus failed to load game data.
If you just launched the game without any arguments, this may indicate a bug with the extraction process.
Please report this on https://github.com/Wargus/stratagus/issues/new,
and please give details, including: operating system, installation path, username, kind of source CD.
If you got an error message about the extraction command failing, please try to run it in a console
and post the output to the issue. A common problem is symbols in the path for the installation, the game data path,
or the username (like an ampersand or exclamation mark). Try changing these.
Try also to remove the folder /home/pi/.local/share/stratagus/data.Wargus and try the extraction again.

The bug is stable reproduced at the end of map Single Player->Campaign->Tides of Darkness->Alliance->X. THE PRISONERS, so there is no way to pass to the next level.

Here is game save which allows to easy reproduce it: game001.sav.gz

  1. load game001.sav.gz
  2. it has state before victory, move minutemans into circle of power
  3. Congratulation window will be displayed
  4. Click on Victory button

Expected result: the game switch to the next level

Actual result: the game crash happens
