How can I use Lishogi's Pieces' Font in my Project?
I'm working on a vector diagram package for LaTeX, and I'm looking for good fonts for it. I like Lishogi's fonts, how do I get them? How do I download them?
I think there are several fonts being used for pieces in the website, as there are many themes, but I can only see a few in the public/fonts folder actually. Are those it still? I tried opening them, but I'm not sure they really are the fonts I'm looking for.
I've also asked about this on the TeX Stack Exchange.
If by fonts you mean icons used across the site, then public/font is the correct place - lishogi.sfd is what's used to generate the woff files.
If you mean pieces (like on the board), then those are mostly svgs and can be found in public/piece. Default piece set used is Ryoko_1Kanji. If you mean the fonts used in these svgs (like 歩 for pawn), then I have no idea, fonts were turned to paths and svgs were minified and it's probably not present anymore, although older commits might still have that info, you could also try contacting the person who made the pieceset, maybe they got the source somewhere...
Thanks, @WandererXII !
Who is the person who created the piecesets? I wanted to know which font they used...
Sorry for the late reply. Some pieceset creators are listed here: https://github.com/WandererXII/lishogi/blob/master/COPYING.md
If you tell me which pieceset you are interested in, I can look if I have a version of the svgs that list the font used.
Thanks for the follow-up, @WandererXII ! I like the first default font on Lishogi:
Relevant PR: https://github.com/WandererXII/lishogi/pull/139 Unfortunately font is not listed in the first version of the files.
