Speed Up Transaction: transaction gained labels after speeding up (no new UTXOs were added)

Open MarnixCroes opened this issue 2 years ago • 4 comments

General Description

I sent a tx to another client, I speed it up. After speeding it up the tx in the history gained new labels. While no new utxo's were added?

Honestly, at first glance, it looks like the coin that was used to speed up your transaction had many labels, so obviously (and rightfully) the speed up TX inherited these "new" labels.

It's my theory, I will try to reproduce this and check if there is an issue or not.

@MarnixCroes do you remember from which wallet did you speed up the TX? From the sender wallet or from the receiver?

I tried to reproduce it and while doing that I was expecting a label to be inherited by the TX, but a completely different label got inherited, so something fishy is here.

I will dig deeper.

I speeded it up from the sender wallet
