Summary

We're encountering a UI/UX issue where MetaMask appears twice in the Reown Appkit wallet list.

📅 When it started: The issue seems to have started after MetaMask v12.18.1, released on 24 May 2025, which introduced Solana support alongside existing EVM support.

🔍 Suspected Cause: With the new MetaMask version supporting both EVM and Solana chains, it’s likely that the MetaMask adapter is now being registered as two separate connectors — one for each chain — which results in the duplicated appearance in the UI.

💡 Expected Behavior: MetaMask should appear once in the wallet list, ideally with some logic to distinguish between chain types if relevant.
