React dApp: No deeplink on interaction

When using the dapp on mobile the example React dApp (with standalone client) - v2 (Demo) doesn't seem to trigger any deeplinks when clicking on signing or signing transactions. On connect it does trigger a deep link. I tried with alphawallet and our own work-in-progress Minerva Wallet implementation.
