I think this is similar to the issue: https://github.com/WaelHamze/dyn365-ce-vsts-tasks/issues/183 It seems the operation is taking longer than expected on the back end.

@bo-stig-christensen if your json contains only what you need, you should be use either reset or delsert mode to achieve this.
