East-Asian language version of Windows NT 3.51 & 4.0 installer won't start

It seems the current release version only supports English version of Windows NT 3.51 / 4.0 installation.

I have tried the following:

  • Windows NT 3.51 Workstation Japanese (ISO created from one of my MSDN CD sets) - COFF error
  • Windows NT 4.0 Workstation Chinese (Simplified) & Japanese (created from retail package CDs) - MEMORY_MANAGEMENT (BSOD) after initial driver selections

The above was tested on a soft-modded Wii.

I was able to install an Italian-localized PPC ISO without issues.
