manual computer selection fail

i was just going through the 4.0 installer and i pressed enter on "other " during the computer detection part. the setup told me to insert my floppy through drive a, but i just pressed enter. the text then dissapeared for a split second and came back unchanged, still on the same page when it shouldve sent me to select that i was using a wii. i have tried to restart my wii, and repartition the sd card and the 2gb img file i created.

i have seen no refference to this in the readme. my nt folder is like this dingus@arch /mnt/sd/nt/$ ls disk00.img disk00.iso arcfw.elf

pretty sure the arcfw was elf. i tried this last week

You did not extract the zip correctly, you did not extract nt\drivers.img to your sd card.
