Encoder installer problem

Now when i install the encoder it stores the password as plain text and i am unable to login. Whilst that encoder is on the encoder network the remote login passwords all store as hashed and they can login fine. I am unable to login locally from the streamer site or the encoder locally as it says the streamer site cannot be found. The streamer site installed fine and i can login fine and its admin password is hashed but the encoder admin password is not hashed its plain text. Ive tried installing it 3 times and same problem.

If you mean the password in the configuration.php file, it was always like that and cannot be hashed

do not worry about security, because if someone can access the content of your configuration.php your server is already dead.

regarding your login, I do not know, you may need to check your apache logs

No in the mysql database it is plain text and it definately shouldnt be

I see what do you mean

This is just in the first login

Once you login again it will be a hash

I will update the installation to also save a hash

No matter how many times i install the encoder it will not login as admin to the streamer site it is attached to. The installer completes so it can read the admin details but it will not login in and the only problem i can see is that the admin password in the encoder is plain text. Other than that remote users can login but not the admin user from the encoders streamer site.
