cache issues

Cache doesn't update straight away with the following features confusing users causing to them to keep trying.

1. Uploaded videos don't appear on first page until cache update. Users think their upload didnt work, however they appear in the big video straight away but not on the front page recent videos.
2. Theme doesn't change until next cache turn around.
3. Thumbnails don't update until next cache turn around.
4. First page clear cache doesn't work.

Can these functions be ignored by the cache?

I like the cache as it speeds up the site but i cannot use it due to the above.
