Cannot withdraw my money from my wallet
I have £70 and i cannot withdraw it. Also the more videos i watch the more money i loose. Is this normal with monetisation on?
I have turned it off now. So anyone with money in their wallet and they view loads of videos. They start to loose their money.
All i get is an endless loading loop and a 500 error when i check in the developers tools. Nothing logged in avideo.log
As you can imagine this is a very serious bug that needs resolved before i have no money left to withdraw or its stuck there forever. I sent the money back to them and asked them to withdraw it and they have the same issue so they sent it back to me again.
Everything else works fine on the site.
to get the 500 error you MUST check your logs, without logs I cannot help you

I have done my own research and it appears to be cos paypal payouts isnt activated and their is no mention of this anywhere. So if users are unaware of this like me and you receive money and paypal do not activate this as its down to their discretion, then your money is stuck forever and can never be released. This is bad! Ive had to turn the wallet system off.
I guess you are trying to automatically let your users withdraw.

In the worst case, you can manually transfer the money from PayPal on the PayPal site.
Payouts need to be enabled for the live environment. They work in the sandbox but until you actually go to the account status page and click on the link to enable it you will get the AUTHORIZATION_ERROR. It will ask you some questions. Answer them and get ready for them to email you back for a more complete description of how you are going to use their services. This can take a few days.

If you configure it correctly, the money is on the same PayPal account that you get the API keys

The money doesn't show on paypal cos it cannot be transferred there, so i don't understand how i can use it on paypal.

did you get the API credentials?
did you test it before putting it into production?
did you receive any PayPal email confirmation?
how do you have any balance on the wallet? manually add the balance or someone did the payment?
who did the payment? you? somebody else?
was the payment a subscription? a PPV? or what?

Hi yes I changed the API keys over from sandbox to live.
it was tested on both live and sandbox
No I’ve not received PayPal email notification.
Check on your videos folder a file PayPal.log
also check on your PayPal side some notifications logs
because you did not receive any email I think your payment didn’t went thru
also the balance should only be added after the PayPal confirmation
I have made a request to PayPal for payouts they denied it saying I wouldn’t earn enough. So the £70 is stuck forever in my wallet then???

What is weird is you telling me the money is not on your PayPal site account and you did not received any PayPal email
Ask your users the PayPal receipt from their payment transaction and open a ticket on PayPal
But i wouldn't get an email from paypal if the money was transferred to my avideo wallet? It hasn't done in my paypal so it fail to see how i would receive an email.
I really do not know what happens. especially because you do not provide any log
if you are saying they add some money to their wallet you must check the logs and the PayPal. also, your user's PayPal receipt.

The problem is paypal wont let me have payouts. They rejected it. Now i have £70 sat in my wallet from donations from users that have came out of their paypal. So i am deeply saddened by this situation because basically i cannot monetise my platform either or withdraw any money which is beyond believe. Its like this money has been lost because it cannot be withdrawn?
That is sad, but this is something you must resolve on the PayPal side.
usually after some checks, PayPal enables it.
you can also try Stripe, but Stipe will also make some checks
I cannot withdraw any other way than paypal even though stripe is setup and working as i use it for disk upload quota and the stripe plugin is configured and working.
the wallet withdrawal plugin states that
i can:
Withdraw money from your: Transfer funds from your account to your credit card or bank account
But their are no credit/debit card or bank account options. Only paypal.
Please understand, that you will never be able to transfer any money from PayPal or stripe if you do not have the right valid account.
If you still are trying to use AVideo to transfer your funds, forget about it!!!!. you MUST ask PayPal why you are not able to transfer your payment.
If you cannot see your balance on the PayPal site. something went wrong and you will not be able to transfer anything.
I hope you have no doubt on that but if some one pay you using PayPal, you cannot use stripe to withdraw
