[Duplicating for attention] The WSAGAScript is probably deprecated - as noone knows MSFT using a VHDX instead of IMG files, anyone know?
The sh scripts are probably outdated. Even the Youtube video is from years ago. I opened the scripts using VS Code and found out that almost all scripts look for files like "system.img", which is not true in newer .vhdx files. Modifying the sh scripts might be helpful. Salute to whoever wrote those sh scripts.
It would be better if the sh script was took over, tampered & interfered by one of a fellow like you to support the vhdx files up to the top latest versions available, I may wish.

Tbh, I do not think simple fix like changing the file type in one of the scripts can fix this issue. Simply changing .img to .vhdx might trigger error like "wrong file system type". I will study more on this topic and let you know how it goes :)

Use another method. Up in the comments are alternate projects that are maintained.

The WSAGAScript is dead with the WSA. We got a mail putting the whole WSA in the coffin. So do the project. If the dev is active he will surely attempt to close my issue and fix the issue.
We surely want to archive the WSA software to preserve it instead?
