I have a similar experience now.

AFAIK Google Play Services will run only on certified devices, which is literally a list of brand and models. Since GApps installed in WSA, it does not report a valid brand and model and it will cause this issue.

There are multiple workarounds for this, but it's another workaround on top of all the other workarounds.

I have registered the Google Service Framework-Android-ID with the link below. Now the Google Play Store Login is working! https://www.google.com/android/uncertified/?pli=1

I installed an App called Device ID (Link below) via ADB sideload. This App shows GSF ID. https://m.apkpure.com/de/device-id/com.evozi.deviceid
