Couldn't find WPIDE menu item after installation

I needed to change

define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT',false);

in my wp-config.php to

define('DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT',true);

WPide has been unmaintained for quite a while now. I have created a fork of the plugin, it is on the WordPress plugin repository, and it is called AceIDE. I encourage you to check it out. It has all the features of WPide and then some.

It has not, however I have been very preoccupied with my work as of late.

I have been pushing code to the plugin up to 2 months ago, however have not released it as there was another feature I wished to implement, and now you've reminded me, so thank you :)

There should be a new version on the WP repo in a few days!
