Caching issue

I have wpum on my site and content protected for members only. When i put in the test username and password for the first time, i land on my protected content. Then i logout and try it again, and it does not give me any error, but just keeps relanding on the same page and displaying the user login. If i navigate around the site and then simply come back to the page in question, the content shows up. I can't figure out what is causing it. I am hosted on GoDaddy. I dont have any additional caching plugins on the site. I just need members to be able to login reliably and get to the content. Can you help? the site is ihrim.org/wsr-home/archives - from there you can click on any of the magazines and you will be brought to the protected pages. I have created a subscriber user test_hemley with a password of welcome123 - it is simply a subscriber.
