E-Mail Logs: blank e-mail body

Open neralex opened this issue 2 months ago • 6 comments

Hi,

why stays the e-mail body blank inside of the e-mail-logs?

I'm using the current plugin- and wordpress-version. Status is 'success' and inside of the sent e-mails the body is vissible...

Hello @neralex, This kind of issue happening for all logs or any individual email? Thanks.

It happens for all logs. Sometimes it needs some time after open and close some of the log-entries to see some content there. It seems the log-content is shown for a short time and then it get stripped out. The iframe is just blank.

<iframe frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="" mozallowfullscreen="" webkitallowfullscreen="" style="width: 100%; height: 400px;"></iframe>

I can confirm that this occurs for me as well; all emails with the same log content of the iframe that neralex displays.

This behavior has occurred for as long as I can remember and I've used fluent-smtp across a handful of sites (some multisite, some single) for about 2 years.

BUT: I strongly prefer that all email bodies are blank; as including the email body's contents in the logs would increase the db size and more importantly, decreases privacy.

@skora-cpl Thanks. Yeah true but I need the logs with the body conent. So maybe there could be an option of this plugin to disable it, when is not needed.

I have similar behaviour. I find that if I click around a bit until I find an old email that does view correctly I can then go back to the problem email, click on it, and the text will be shown. I'm usually using Firefox.

For me, the problem occurs in Firefox and does not occur in Chrome.
