giving feedback to the testimonials

I like the option of giving feedback to the testimonials. But I didn’t want to provide an option of discussing them via single-view, because I don’t use the single-view and comments aren’t allowed on my site. To have the option commenting myself, I added an extra custom text field and hid it via CSS in my form. In my views I added this field with an custom CSS class. Works fine! It would be perfect, when not just providing a custom text field but also a custom textarea to be flexible in this case.

@mplusb Could you please help me understand how to implement this? I have a custom text (per testimonial) I would like like to include as additional context to each testimonial.

@giucu91 think this one is similar with the Reply system from KB Support or the Version system from DLM ( or something like a Review/Comment for each testimonial ). Another CPT that handles "reviews"/ feedback for each testimonial, but I'm not quite sure how many demand this thing and is rather complex. Don't know if the hassle is worth it.
